Shift penalties.
A. It is ordered that the above award be varied as follows:
1. By inserting clauses 48.2 and 48.3 as follows:
48.2 The additional rates provided in clauses 48.1(a) and (b) are not cumulative and where any shift attracts both penalties only the higher percentage will be paid.
48.3 The additional payments prescribed in clause 48 will not exceed the amount based on the rate for Grade 5 in the case of an employee employed by a metropolitan television station and Grade 3 in the case of an employee employed in a non metropolitan television station.
B. This determination comes into operation on the first full pay period commencing on or after 16 October 2012.
