Expense-related allowances.

A. Pursuant to s.157 of the Fair Work Act 2009, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the amount “$0.78” appearing in clause 18.3(b)(i) and inserting “$0.80”.

2. By deleting the amount “$13.29” appearing in clause 18.3(c)(i) and inserting “$13.56”.

3. By deleting the amount “$11.98” appearing in clause 18.3(c)(ii) and inserting “$12.23”.

4. By deleting the table appearing in clause C.2.1 and inserting the following:

Clothing allowance—Uniform allowance—the lesser of:	18.3(a)(i)
– Per day or part thereof; OR		1.20	per day or part thereof
– Per week		5.92	per week
Clothing allowance—Laundry allowance—the lesser of:	18.3(a)(ii)
– Per day or part thereof; OR		0.26	per day or part thereof
– Per week		1.29	per week
Travelling, transport and fares—use of own motor vehicle	18.3(b)(i)	0.80	per km
Meal allowance—Overtime of more than one hour after usual finishing time	18.3(c)(i)	13.56	per occasion
Meal allowance—Overtime exceeding 4 hours	18.3(c)(ii)	12.23	per occasion

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 July 2020. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2020.
