Expense-related allowances.

A. Pursuant to s.157 of the Fair Work Act 2009, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the amount “$32.48” appearing in clause 19.5(a) and inserting “$37.09”.

2. By deleting the amount “$3.35” appearing in clause 19.5(d)(ii) and inserting “$3.50”.

3. By deleting the amount “$16.85” appearing in clause 19.5(f)(i) and inserting “$17.24”.

4. By deleting the table appearing in clause D.2.1 and inserting the following:

Allowance	Clause	$	Payable
Travelling allowance	19.5(a)	37.09	per day
Housing allowance—this amount less than the amount of rent charged	19.5(d)(ii)	3.50	–
Meal allowance	19.5(f)(i)	17.24	per meal

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 July 2022. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2022.
