On 6 December 2023, APESMA applied for a single interest employer authorisation (B2023/1339).
The application was made under section 248of the Fair Work Act 2009 and relates to bargaining for a proposed single interest employer agreement to cover 5 employers in the black coal industry and their employees in certain classifications specified in the application.
The matter was heard by a Full Bench of the Commission and a decision was issued on 23 August 2024.
