The governance of the organisation is vested in the Executive Council, who are directly elected by and from financial members. The six Councillors then elect by and from themselves a President, 2 Vice Presidents and a Treasurer. The Secretary is an elected officer, but does not form part of the Executive Council.
Elections are held every 3 years for Executive Councillors and every 4 years for the office of Secretary. These elections are conducted by the AEC.
