When it was registered, the government of the organisation was vested in the Board of Directors and the Executive Council. The Board of Directors consisted of the Office Bearers, the Secretary and 6 members of the Executive Council. The Executive Council consisted of 23 members.
Elections for offices were conducted every 1, 3 and 4 years. The organisation held an exemption from having its elections conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission.
