Introduction
We propose to review and change (vary) superannuation clauses in modern awards on the Commission's initiative.
Content
The review has been initiated:
- under section 160 of the Fair Work Act 2009 to remove ambiguity or uncertainty in relation to default superannuation funds which have changed name as a result of a merger or otherwise
- under section 158 of the Fair Work Act to ensure all modern awards contain a superannuation term in relation to employer contributions as required by section 149B of the Fair Work Act.
